The Glynn Environmental Coalition (GEC) is recruiting two (2) motivated, self-starting individuals to join our company as a Seafood Outreach Assistant. As part of our Safe Seafood Outreach Initiative, you conduct one-on-one outreach with Brunswick/Glynn County fishermen and their families about local seafood consumption advisories. This outreach is essential for fishermen and their families to understand the existence of contaminated seafood and how to mitigate potential health impacts from overconsuming locally caught contaminated seafood.
GEC is recruiting a motivated professional to assist in organizing Brunswick and the greater Glynn County around air quality, climate justice, and other local environmental concerns. Over the past 34 years, the GEC has helped organize communities around environmental justice concerns and provided crucial environmental health services to coastal Georgia.
